Okavango Delta

DISCOVERED ON BOARD A MOKORO

Located in northern Botswana, the Okavango Delta flows into the Kalahari Desert and irrigates much of it. Come closer to the rich and diverse fauna by climbing into a mokoro and letting a guide show you all the Delta's natural marvels. Without engine noise you will have the opportunity to get close to many animals: storks, antelopes and many birds. Far away you will also be able to observe large herds of elephants or giraffes: thrills guaranteed.

Mokoro are dug-out canoes propelled by men, called canoeists, who lean on a large pole. They are very stable and are the traditional means of transport used by the inhabitants to move around the Delta. This will allow you to go for a water walk in the most beautiful places of the Okavango Delta. If you’re lucky you might even get the opportunity to learn how to maneuver a mokoro yourself!
